Narrow One

Narrow One is a multiplayer archery capture-the-flag game where everyone is a bowman and the maps are vertical castles. You spawn with a bow, a quiver, and grappling-hook mobility, then sprint, climb, and zipline across fortresses trying to grab the enemy flag and bring it home while the other team does the same.

The grappling hook is what makes movement feel good. Aim at a wall, fire the hook, reel in - you can swing across gaps, scale towers, and reach sniper perches that foot travel can't. Mastering the hook separates players who get picked off in the courtyard from those who flank from above.

Combat is one-shot-kill archery with travel time on arrows. That means leading targets matters, cover matters, and positioning above an opponent matters. A bowman on a high wall has a real advantage over one on the ground.

Matches are quick and the player base keeps servers populated. This browser version runs the full multiplayer experience - no install, no account wall, just drop in and play.

Move with WASD. Aim and fire your bow with the mouse - arrows have travel time, so lead moving targets.

Use the grappling hook (right-click or dedicated key) to swing and climb. Aim at a surface, fire the hook, and you'll reel toward it. The hook enables vertical movement the maps are built around.

Grab the enemy flag from their base and return it to your own to score. You drop the flag if killed, and the enemy can return it by touching it.

Coordinate with teammates. One player running the flag while others provide covering fire from elevation works far better than solo rushes.

Take the high ground. Archers above opponents have better angles and harder-to-dodge shots. Grapple to rooftops and walls.

Lead your targets. Arrows aren't hitscan - aim where the enemy will be when the arrow arrives, not where they are now.

Don't hold the flag in the open. If you grab it, immediately head for cover or elevation. Standing in the courtyard gets you picked off instantly.

Use the grappling hook offensively too. Swinging into an enemy's flank while they aim at your teammate creates easy kills.
